Robert T Kiyosaki is known as the teacher to become a millionaire. The main reason why people struggle financially is because they are taught go to school get good grades and get a high paying job with a safe secure company. He is a top author and best seller of Rich Dad Poor Dad which was his first book of a whole series. He is responsible for teaching the world that just going to school and getting high grades was not going to set you financially free, he said you must learn how to read a financial statement and increase your financial IQ.
Robert T Kiyosaki was born in Hawaii; he is a fourth generation Japanese American. His Father was head of education for the state of Hawaii. His real dad is who he refers to as his “Poor Dad” in his book. Robert also had a “Rich Dad” which was his best friend’s dad; this man was a business man who had people and money work for him.
After high school Robert joined The Us Marine Corps and went to Vietnam War as a helicopter gun ship pilot. After a few years in the war he returned home and his career as a business man was born. In 1977 he formed a company that brought out the first nylon and Velcro surfer wallets. This was his first world wide multimillion dollar business. His product stretched the globe. But there was a problem as quick as it was a success was as quick as he lost it all.
But he remembered what his rich dad said; most millionaires loose three companies before they hit the big time so you’re in front. There are no mistakes only lessons. In 1985 he bounced back to the business world and co-founded an international education company that operated in seven countries, teaching business and investing to tens of thousands of gradates.
Robert retired at the age of 47 and still does what he enjoys most, the game of chasing money. Concerned about the rich getting richer he created a board game called Cash flow which teaches the game of making money, that’s how he sees it, just a real life Monopoly.
Robert’s business is real estate and developing small cap companies, his passion is teaching. Robert message is clear take, responsibility for your finances or take orders your whole life. “You’re either a master of money or a slave to it”
