The main aspect that separates man from any other animal is believed to be agriculture. We grow different kinds of fruits and vegetables which are rich in proteins, carbohydrates, vitamins and minerals. But as we are very much interested in making food tasty, we process the food too much and convert it into fast and junk food, which diminishes its the nutritional value.

We all know that children should take adequate amount of fruits and vegetables for maintaining their right energy levels. But children eat for taste rather than health(like most of the adults).Conveying the children about the goodness of vegetables is a good idea but, it seldom helps in making them interested in taking them. Parents have to play very smart tricks to make their kids eat them if they are picky eaters.

1)      Juice: Children feel disinterested in eating certain fruits like oranges, mausambi as they feel lazy to peel. Though the goodness of fiber is missed, juice is a better option as they can drink without effort. If  they are not prone to any allergies, chilled juice is a good alternative.

2)      Milk shakes: Preparing delicious milk shakes will make children come for more and they are the best in summer season.

3)      Fruits as toppings: Add fruits to their chilled ice cream or custard and let them relish the taste as you enjoy the sight of their fruit intake.

1)      Different types of rice: Children these days enjoy spicy food. They do not like to have curries, but when the same vegetables are added to different kinds of rice items like biriyani, fried rice, tomato rice, coconut rice, green rice, etc; they do not fuss about them. The vegetables have to be finely cut and chopped so that they do not remove them while eating.

2)      Noddles: Maggi is all time favourite for all the children in India. Add all the suitable vegetables, like tomato, onion, carrot, beans etc; to make the noodles, healthy as well as tasty.

3)      Chat: Kids love to eat the chats prepared in chat bhandars. You can prepare the chats even at home by adding finely chopped vegetables of your choice. Please find the recipes for chats on this site for more ideas.

4)      Sandwich: Let your kid be more creative. Provide you child with the necessary toppings for a sandwich and ask him/her to prepare a sandwich for the family.

5)      Soup: Soup is an ideal item that can be served as soon as your child is back from school. Experiment with different kinds of vegetable soups. This sometimes is better than other items as the child cannot see the vegetable he/she dislikes. You can add pepper or some other item to hide the taste of the item disliked by the child yet providing him/her with the goodness in it.

6)      Manchurian: Prepare this Chinese dish with all the vegetables finely chopped and diced. As the balls are deep fried, the taste of the vegetables vanishes.

So provide your child with the right amounts of fruits and vegetables which build the necessary resistance power and keep them hail and healthy.

Article from Robert Toru Kiyosaki (born April 8, 1947) is an American investor, businessman, self-help author and motivational speaker. Kiyosaki is best known for his Rich Dad Poor Dad series of motivational books and other material published under the Rich Dad brand. He has written 15 books which have combined sales of over 26 million copies.[1] Although beginning as a self-publisher, he was subsequently published by Warner Books, a division of Hachette Book Group USA, currently his new books appear under the Rich Dad Press imprint. Three of his books, Rich Dad Poor Dad, Rich Dad’s CASHFLOW Quadrant, and Rich Dad’s Guide to Investing, have been on the top 10 best-seller lists simultaneously on The Wall Street Journal, USA Today and the New York Times. Rich Kid Smart Kid was published in 2001, with the intent to help parents teach their children financial concepts. He has created three “Cashflow” board and software games for adults and children and has a series of “Rich Dad” audio cassettes and disks. A large part of Kiyosaki’s teachings focus on generating passive income by means of investment opportunities, such as real estate and businesses, with the ultimate goal of being able to support oneself by such investments alone. In tandem with this, Kiyosaki defines “assets” as things that generate cash inflow, such as rental properties or businesses—and “liabilities” as things that use cash, such as houses, cars, and so on. Kiyosaki also argues that financial

If you offer a bran muffin or a cup of lentil soup to a kid, you’re likely to get groans and sneers. Today’s children simply do not consume enough fiber-rich foods. It’s just as important to your child’s health as it is to yours to get enough fiber.

Foods that are high in fiber are smart and caring choices for your kids because they’re filling and discourage overeating – and fiber itself has no calories. The rate of obesity in children living in the United States is glaring evidence that something must dramatically be altered in our approach to healthy eating.

Consider changes in meals and snacks that will add high fiber to the diet over a span of time. Offer a wide variety of high fiber food sources. If you change slowly to more high fiber fruits and veggies, your kids’ fiber adaptation will be so much smoother (so will their bowel movements). Make sure that you introduce fiber gradually to their daily diet with lots of drinking water to move things easily along.

Fiber helps delay the absorption of sugars into the bloodstream, regulating blood sugar levels which help kids learn and behave better. It also reduces the risk for some cancers later in life.

An easy way to calculate how much fiber your kid should have every day is by adding 5 to their age. For example, if you have a 6-year-old, he or she should get about 11 grams of daily fiber. Adults and those older than 15 need 25 to 30 grams of fiber per day.

Kids tend to be most receptive to the fiber found in fruits, vegetables and presweetened breakfast cereals. Apricots, figs and prunes make wonderful high fiber snacks. They love to crack open nuts like peanuts and pistachios. Choose pears, apples and berries; peas, nuts and beans; and cereals and pancakes made with whole grain.

If bread is brown in color, it doesn’t mean that it is whole grain. Check the ingredient list to see if it reads “whole grain” or “whole” as in whole wheat. Look for at least 4 grams of fiber per serving.

Get your kids to help make decisions about better eating, you might find their attitudes more open to a healthier diet plan.

Don’t just set the table at suppertime. Set a good example with a lifetime of healthful eating habits.

For those that have a desire to become financially very successful the task may seem very complicated or nearly impossible.  You may see rich people all over television, or read about them in the newspaper, but trying to become one seems like a fairy tale.  Well, it’s not a fairy tale and the formula to become rich is very simple.  In fact there are really only 4 primary paths to becoming rich in America.

1. Own a business.

Having a job and working for someone is a basic component of survival.  Having a high paying job will lead you to a good life.  If you want to be rich be the one writing the checks and paying those good salaries.  The business owner who can afford to pay 10 employees 0,000 a year is rich while you as the employee is just well off.  Next year he can hire 20 employees, then 50 and so on.  A senior executive at a company is well off, the owner of his company is rich AND has unlimited earning potential.

2. Own property.

Paying rent may be necessary for survival but is the kryptonite to becoming rich.  Paying rent will get you no properties, paying a mortgage will get you 1 property (eventually), but owning multiple properties with multiple tenants paying you rent will make you rich.  The more properties you own, the more money you will make – it’s that simple.

3. Own investments.

Paying credit card bills and having a savings account may keep you functioning and safe but will never make you rich.  Owning stocks in banks and financial institutions will make you rich.  The former has you giving your money to banks so they can invest it and get rich.  The latter has you keeping your money and investing it to create wealth.  Paying a bank makes the bank rich, investing in bank stocks makes you rich.  When you pay bills you are working for money and when you invest in stocks, bonds and commodities your money is working for you.

4. Become a celebrity.

Actors, athletes and rappers and musicians are some of the richest people in America, but they are not rich because they are good at what they do; they are rich because they are celebrities.  Beyonce is rich because you know her.  There are thousands of women who can sing like her who are broke.  Lebron is rich because you know him.  There are millions of highly skilled basketball players who are playground legends but are broke.  Lil’ Wayne is rich, but how many rappers are on the street with “mad skills” and not a dime in their pocket.

Actors, athletes and rappers become rich because they do something that people want to see AND many people are paying money to see them do it.  The many eyes watching them make them celebrities, which translates into successful advertising and high ticket sales for advertisers, team owners, and corporate media companies.  The celebrity is a tool of the advertiser, team owner or Media Corporation, but he is a rich tool.  If the celebrity wants to stay rich he/she needs to successfully employ 1 of the other 3 get rich strategies or he/she will eventually spend/lose all of his riches (think Scottie Pippen or MC Hammer).

It used to be true that you had to have talent to become a celebrity.  Nowadays, you can become a celebrity without having any talent (think William Hung of American Idol fame or Snookie of JerseyShores).  These people have gotten rich because of celebrity and are for the most part devoid of talent.  Conversely, a highly skilled musician who is not a celebrity may play dive bars forever and never get rich.  It seems blatantly unfair but it is the nature of our celebrity-oriented society.

There are certainly other ways to get rich in America.  Games of luck or chance (gambling, winning the lottery, etc) or participating in illegal activities (drug dealing, fraud and financial scams) all will make you tons of money.  The problem with these strategies however is that to maintain your wealth and to function in society you will eventually have to employ 1 of the 4 strategies above or you will lose your wealth (and possibly your freedom if you are locked away in jail).

If you are a lottery winner buy some property, invest in stocks, or buy a successful business.  If you were not skilled in these areas before you will not magically become savvy just because you have new riches so make sure you hire some people to help you gain success in one of the 4 areas.

If you are a drug dealer who has made a lot of cash, get out now and use your money to buy some property or hire a financial advisor so they can invest your money to generate an income stream for life.  For better or worse, you have learned many of the tools of running a successful business through your criminal activities so use those skills to start a legitimate enterprise that doesn’t kill kids, destroy families and devastate communities.

If you are a white collar criminal who has gotten rich by scamming and stealing from others through white collar crime, political deception or other shady behavior you probably aren’t reading this anyway, but if you are you probably will never change.  You are smart enough to know how to make money illegally, your moral compass has been destroyed, and making legal and legitimate riches has never been on your agenda.  Unfortunately in America too many people in this group are those that run major corporations and/or are elected officials who are protected politically and legally by the corruptible elements of capitalism and the American system of government and law.

What you need to know:

You can be talented, but without being discovered you will never become a celebrity and it is highly unlikely that you will ever be rich.

If you are talented at something that the masses do not want to see or are unwilling to pay for you probably will not be rich (think the best water polo player in the world)

Having a job will not make you rich; having INCOME will make you rich.

In today’s society you don’t have to be talented to be a celebrity

Most rich people combine at least 2 of the 4 described strategies to get and stay rich – think Oprah (business owner and celebrity), Donald Trump (celebrity, real estate mogul and businessman), Jay-Z (rapper and business owner).

The rich people who are not celebrities excel at strategies 1, 2 and 3, you just don’t know about them because they are not celebrities.

There are many books on how to become rich but many are just a waste of good paper.  They are hundreds of pages of material, but many don’t tell you the basic things that you really need to know.  If they were true blueprints to financial success there would be a whole lot more rich people in the America.
