How to shop smart for kids clothes
Children get bigger a lot quicker than adults. Most adults are the same height they were at the end of high school or in the beginning of college. But up until either of those points, infants, children and teenagers continue to undergo growth at rates much more rapidly than full-grown adults. Therefore, it is much more feasible to find clothes and shoes after this growth period because the size will not change in the next month.

For kids, however, purchasing clothes can pose a huge dilemma, especially for parents. How do you
buy clothes of any quality for someone who will only outgrow them in a matter of months? This is a particular concern with infants, as they grow the fastest but remain sensitive to proper sizing. Kids clothes are quite inexpensive, but soon when you start buying the different essentials kids need like shirts, bottoms, shoes, pajamas, and much more the costs start to add up. Unless you are ok having to find kids clothes every so often (and can afford to do so), consider these tips to assist you to make the most of your kids’ clothes without putting a hole in your pocket and unecessarily clearing out that college savings account or retirement plan you’ve been trying to build up.

First, pick a system to organize your kids’ closet in, either through types of clothes (ex. shirts, pants, coats) or weather (ex. winter, spring) or the purpose (ex. for school, for sports). Be sure to pull out of the articles of clothing that do not fit your child any longer (ex. shortened pant legs, tighter waist bands, choking collars, etc.) Set these items aside and save them for your next child should you have one, or give them away to other mothers who could use them for their children as they grow. After sorting through the outgrown clothes, find which ones need to be compensated for and then go looking for them.

The next thing to evaluate when purchasing kids clothes is to see where the kids are now in terms of size and age. Even though your kids may be young, if they have a period of rapid growth, it is likely that they may stay that size for a tad bit. This allows you to invest in clothing that are a little more expensive, but better quality and ideal fit. You may not know what to do when kids are in that middle limbo, perfectly snug for a size 8 but not big enough for a 10; when in this scenario, go for the size 10 to avoid additional costs when they get to the size 10 in a few months. You can apply this method easily with top garments, but to find bottoms is not always a fun job. A lot of kids clothes have a stretchy waist band with bottoms; however, this can limit the variety of clothes you find for your child.

The more you go shopping forkids clothes , the sooner you will narrow down the brands that work
the best for your children. Experiment with various brands and fully keep an eye on how your youngsters grow into them. More often than not, you discover a number of brands that fit to your liking, rather than the one style that is perfect for all clothes. Now that you have a list of your prefered brands, the next time you have to buy clothes for your kids will be a more cost and time efficient ordeal.

Baby clothes are not always as costly as you think, and you can usually find pre-owned kids clothes that cost next to nothing while being there for other mothers looking to find new owners for their kids’ outgrown clothes. Evaluate your choices when it comes to buying clothes for your kids and find the best way for you and your children.

While I don’t argue for to reckon on read as many books to jot down one myself or to become a critic, I charge definitely say the following principles hold right in incredibly cases, besides if you are efficient to stick to these 3 rules you can in fact wax a money source rather than a money sink.

1. enjoin yourself “Can I live irrecoverable this?”Spending, if you fault curtail this practice is an ancient wisdom rigid written by the expired adage “A Penny Saved is a Penny Earned”. Before you get into moiety sort of spending, and ask yourself 3 times (5 if you consider yourself an impulsive shopper) if you purely need to spend your hard earned important on the doer of libido. If the answer is level a ailing ‘NO’ it will conclude you no harm on refraining to spend on the specific object.

2. Make your capital originate more moneyHaving money is of no use, money should effectively be used to generate more revenue. A rupee in your procure will copy of no use unless u either spend heartfelt on something that brings u further if not an dead ringer value or u invest it in one of the myriad ways to make it generate more important. Most of us have taken at least one walk down the aisles of Toys “R” Us. There’s no better place than a toy store to observe these truths: Learning is fun. Learning is kid stuff.

Kids are smart enough to reject anything they don’t like, yet many of the most popular toys are dedicated to teaching them something new. Note the tremendous success of the LeapFrog® toys. They teach reading, writing and more, and kids love them.

No matter your age, abilities or income level, you can always be a learner. People who continue to grow and learn are happy – like kids. Here are eight great ways to keep that childlike grin on your face while you learn:

1. Fire Up Your Desire to Learn with Fun

At its best, learning is a form of entertainment. Next time you walk down the toy aisle, notice how many ways the educational toys make learning fun. They use music, color, pictures and physical interaction. How much more interesting is that than sitting for an hour listening to an important but dull lecture? No wonder the really great educational toys are so popular.

Studying a topic that interests you shouldn’t require a double espresso to keep you from falling asleep. If that’s happening, you might have the wrong instructor. Who needs that? Seek out trainers who know how to deliver a message with punch. Not only will you enjoy it more, you’ll want to learn and you’ll retain more of the information.

In my training seminars and conferences, I strive to provide a one-of-a-kind learning experience. I educate with entertainment – music, games, contests and humor. It’s all connected to the topic I’m presenting, and the students’ brains just soak it up. In the process, their careers are reignited, and so is mine.

Education should be entertaining. Commit to having fun while you learn.

2. Keep the Flame of Learning Alive with Variety

Advanced learning is essential. So is brushing your teeth. But just because learning is essential to your career, doesn’t mean it has to be as monotonous as brushing your teeth.

Every day of my life I have fun reading at least one book and often have several open at one time. A few minutes of study on each book keeps my interest stimulated, I retain the material better and I often find myself synthesizing information from the various sources. I also listen to audio programs while driving. Not only is this a fun way to learn and improve myself, it also keeps me calmer and more relaxed in traffic. I tried watching videos, but that seemed to excite the other drivers.

No matter what the subject, you can find a variety of interesting ways to further your knowledge and expertise. Open a book. Listen to an audio presentation. Watch an educational video. Start a study group with other lifetime students.

The same principle applies to the teachers and mentors you learn from. Choose those who have something interesting to say and an interesting way of saying it. Don’t hesitate to have more than one mentor with different experience and teaching styles for different subjects. While one-on-one personalized mentoring is ideal, you’ll find a world of varied and specific information presented by excellent speakers on audio and video. The varied approaches will enable you to better absorb each subject from the most appropriate teacher and will keep you stimulated and eager to learn.

Learning shouldn’t lull you to sleep. Commit to learning from a variety of teachers and choose the learning modes that keep you excited about learning every day.

3. Seek Out Teachers from the Trenches Who Make Learning Fast and Easy

In all my years of education, I’ve discovered that there are basically two ways to learn:

You can choose the hard way, figuring things out on your own by trial and error and making lots of mistakes. You’ll do some of this anyway, but it’s a slow path to success.

OR you can choose the easy way, learning from mentors who have already overcome any challenge you might encounter and already discovered the solution. The right mentor is eager to share those answers with you and set you on a smoother, easier road to knowledge. The best continuing education is immediate and applicable. Going back to college is not the way to change your life’s work. Your best bet is to seek the fast-track education route to business success. You want a nontraditional program designed specifically to deliver the information you need in a form you can use immediately.

All teachers and training programs are not created equal. Learning shouldn’t have to be an uphill struggle. Commit to finding the wildly successful teachers and targeted training programs that can make the process fast and easy for you.

4. Be Willing to Learn from Anyone and Everyone

Never fall into the trap of educational snobbery – “Oh, I have my MBA, JD, PhD, etc., etc. – I couldn’t possibly learn from a secretary.”

I’m open to learning from anyone. Four times a year, 20+ Institute staff members of all levels plus outside consultants gather around our big conference table for a focused, all-day brainstorming session. We work hard on a number of strategically selected topics, and we include frequent breaks for eating and exercise to keep the day interesting and fun. These brainstorm sessions have contributed tremendously to the phenomenal growth of my business.

Not all CEOs agree with my egalitarian take on learning. When I recommended company-wide brainstorming to a CEO group I belonged to, all they saw was the cost of shutting down their businesses for the day. They didn’t understand that an idea from a -per-hour employee could launch a new division, service or product, adding tremendous value to the company for years to come.

You’ll find mentors in many guises, from business associates to family members, friends and colleagues. Although I’ve been in my business for more than two decades, I still learn every day – not only from recognized experts, but especially from my students and staff members, outside consultants and vendors, favorite writers and speakers, and other CEOs.

Learning possibilities aren’t limited to “learned” teachers or a classroom setting. Stay open to learning everywhere you go, from everyone you know.

5. Make Sure You Learn the Right Stuff

We ask college students, “What’s your major?” Life is a college of its own, and we all learn every day. The important question to ask yourself is: “Am I learning the things that will make a difference in my life or things that won’t enhance it at all?” For example, are you mastering techniques for expanding your professional skill set or absorbing the intimate details of the characters on a TV sitcom?

Successful people do not major in minor things. Massively successful people focus on learning the right things. Do you want to learn about the life of a movie star or about a topic that will make you the star of your own life?

To be excellent at learning, laser in on the topics you need to succeed. Where you focus is where you get results. If you want big results, focus on Big Things.

6. Make the Most of Every Learning Opportunity – Even Those Disguised as SNAFUs

Life is a learning smorgasbord. Try to learn from every experience, good or bad. Even in a crisis, you can always glean something positive.

I happened to be in New York City in August 2003 and experienced the blackout firsthand. I looked around me and studied others who survived this negative situation in different ways, from children to adults, from doctors to lawyers to hotdog vendors. Through my observations, I learned this lesson, “Don’t let a communication blackout come between you and your clients.” I then wrote an article about this business world application of a SNAFU, and made sure I applied this lesson to my own business.

Life is full of lessons, both large and small. A bad experience is only bad if you don’t learn from it. Commit to learning from each experience, even the “negative” ones.

7. Carve Out the Time for Learning

If continued education still sounds daunting, remember that you don’t need hours a day as you did in college. Commit to reading 30 minutes a day on a topic you find interesting and intriguing. Commit to listen to an audio program while driving or to watch an educational video while exercising.

You’ll also find appropriate classes and other informational material online and even on educational television. Just don’t get sucked into wasting irreplaceable time on the junk that prevails on these media. Subscribe to electronic newsletters that feed your learning in a focused way.

Like any journey, a lifetime of fun and learning starts with the smallest step. Commit to finding the time for learning wherever and whenever you can.

8. Make Learning a Lifetime Priority for Growth and Fun

In today’s information age, believing you can launch or grow a successfulbusiness or career without continuing education is a guarantee of failure. Successful people respect the complexity of their professions. They become students for life.

Researchers say most of us have learned 80% of everything we know by the time we’re eight years old, when we’re still enthralled by every new discovery. How sad is that? I don’t know about you, but I like to think I’m a lot smarter now than when I was eight.

Rekindle that childhood enthusiasm. Pick up a book today. Turn off the TV and tune in to an inspirational speaker. This is the best New Year’s resolution you can make for yourself.

Learning really is kid stuff. Commit to enjoying it. Start today. Be a child again.

# 1 Figure out why you should quit in the first place

That’s right. If you find joy, passion and meaning in your work, there is no reason to quit. Sadly, this isn’t the case for many of the people I meet.

Look at what is most important to you. Is your work aligned with what you prize most in your life? If not, this is a good reason to change now. Does your job pay the bills, but does not feed your soul?

This is another good reason to quit. Do you find it hard to drag yourself out of bed in the morning? Yet another reason to quit.

# 2 Find new authentic ways to earn what you need

How can you earn income working at activities that seem like a better alignment of your abilities and your interests? What work can you do that will last a lifetime? What kind of work gives you the most passion and joy? What work excites you? What work helps you live with integrity and is the most natural expression of who you are?

# 3 Stop fooling yourself

I have heard all the excuses: the work is unfulfilling, but I have a family to support; I have bills to pay; doing what I love isn’t realistic or practical; I have been doing this job too long to quit now.

The better question to ask is: “How could I support my family and pay my bills by doing work that feeds my soul, and that I love to do?”

What a concept!

You’ll appreciate your family even more. Even paying your bills won’t seem so bad.

# 4 Uncross your arms

Stop being so negative! The more reasons you create to explain why you can’t make your dreams come true, the more you’ll believe what’s NOT possible in your life. As a result, you’ll simply drag yourself back to that office for more useless paperwork, meetings, performance reviews, too many emails and worst of all—those office birthday celebrations!

# 5 Don’t EVER give up

Brain synapses work in a powerful way. You think a thought in your mind, and you can’t help but to think of a similar thought. So as you think of a new possibility in your work—doing what you love—you think of a solution you never considered before. Be careful what you think; the opposite is also true.

For example, right now, do NOT think of a green door.

You are not listening to me!!

You see; to NOT think of a green door, you first have to think of a green door!

# 6 Ask better questions

Vocational Passion takes new muscles. To help prepare, start to ask better questions. For example, as you think about your life’s work, ask yourself, “Do you realize that…?”

As your mind races for an answer, new ideas emerge.

As you think about your life right now, finish the sentences, “I am grateful for…?” and, “Isn’t it great that…?”

These questions will help to get new positive emotions flowing.

# 7 Build a better support network

The more time you spend around those who are stagnant in their work lives, the more stuck you will also feel. Start now to spend time with those people who have the same passions as you do, and you’ll gain new energy in your life.

# 8 Rethink your definition of success

The more you measure your work and life success using external factors such as great pay, great performance reviews, a big office, a large staff, a happy spouse, a great job title, and proud in-laws (the worst measure of all!), the more pressure you’ll feel to continually raise the bar to live up to these expectations.

These expectations will keep increasing, and are totally out of your control.

# 9 Make a decision and then take action

There were three frogs sitting on three lily pads, and two frogs decided to jump. How many frogs were left on the lily pads? This will be the most important and most useful math lesson you will ever learn.

#10 Treat making money, and spending what you make, with more respect

When you work at JUST a job, you don’t really appreciate what you make. You just want more of it, hoping it will somehow make up for all of your unhappiness at work. You don’t even appreciate it when you spend it. Again, you just want to buy more stuff to make up for your unhappiness.

The good news is that when you earn money doing the work you love, every dollar you earn and spend takes on more meaning and satisfaction.

Quit your job- Re-join your life instead!

Jobs lead to careers, which lead to retirement, and then death.

VOCATION (doing the work that calls you) can be done forever—until the day you stop breathing. When you are doing work that you love, you won’t see the difference between work and play. The only people who retire (retreat and get ready to “tire”) are those who do not love what they do. With vocational passion (doing the work you love), the concept of saving and or putting off your work happiness for after retirement won’t make sense to you any more. So when you get those AARP (retirement fund) notices in the mail, run in the other direction!!

You can and should make better use of your life and your work NOW. You’ll be happier, and so will the people around you who love you.

Isn’t this enough?

Are you starting to feel your age?

I’ve hit my forties and really for the first time in my life I’m having to start to think about ways to stay young.

I want to be sure I’m in good physical shape later in my life so I can enjoy the fruits of retirement.  I want to travel, play with my future grandchildren and generally stay active, but to do this I need to remain in great physical and mental shape.

Therefore, I’ve taken a greater interest in how to stay young.  Staying active and healthy for as long as possible is a big part of living life to the fullest.

The Ways I Plan to Stay Young As I Get Older

I get tired of seeing grandmas dressing like twenty year olds.  This is not what I mean when I say that I want to stay young.  I’m also not into plastic surgery or what I consider to be other extreme ways of trying to preserve youthful looks.  This is vanity taken too far.

I believe a person should act their age, I just don’t think they should have to feel old.  I want to be sure that I have the energy, health and mental acuity to live an active, vibrant life for many years to come even if I start wearing my dress socks with my shorts.

I’ve decided to focus on a dozen simple ways to keep myself feeling young as I get older.  Here is what I plan to do:

1.  Eat Foods with High Nutritional Value

I plan to include the eight best foods to eat every day in my regular diet.  However, I’m also going to look for other foods that have high nutritional value.  I want to avoid foods that are fatty and contribute to heart disease.  I also want to control my calorie intake.  I don’t want to get crazy, but I do want to feed my body the nutrients it needs to stay healthy.

2.  Exercise to Keep My Heart Healthy and Body Strong

Mainly, I ride a stationary bike 4 to 5 times per week for about 20 to 25 minutes per session for good cardiovascular health.  However, I need to add some upper body strength training to my routine.  Staying strong is important as one grows older.  My wife has found that Wii Fit is a great addition to a physical fitness plan.

3.  Read Variety of Good Books to Stay Sharp

Reading is a very easy thing for me to do because I enjoy it immensely.  The good news is that there are a number of benefits we derive from reading books.  Primarily, it helps us to keep our minds sharp and to stay abreast of the latest trends.  If you are looking for examples of what to read, I highlight a lot of great books in my Resources for Super-Charged Living and also in 5 Incredible Books That Changed My Life.

4.  Maintain a Positive and Enthusiastic Attitude

It is common to hear that people grow old and bitter.  I definitely want to avoid this.  I believe our thoughts have incredible power over our lives.  Henry Ford said, “Whether you believe you can do a thing or not, you are right.”  I want to keep my attitude positive and enthusiastic as I grow older.  I believe this will afford me the best life possible.

5.  Engage Children and Young Adults in Activities

One powerful way to keep feeling young is to surround yourself with young people.  Their energy, enthusiasm and liveliness tends to be infectious.  I know that my two young daughters help to keep my wife and I moving.  The activities we engage in as a family and with other young families are good exercise and feed our minds the message that we are young and active.

6.  Spend Plenty of Time Outdoors

Nature is rejuvenating.  When you are outside, you are naturally active.  Sitting down and becoming a couch potato is the quickest way to grow old fast.  Your body and your mind deteriorate when they are idle.  Fresh air, sunshine and the sounds of nature are stimulating.  One of my favorite things to do outdoors is go for an invigorating hike.

7.  Cultivate a Good Sense of Humor

There are some really amazing health benefits to laughing more often.  I think we have to work to cultivate our sense of humor throughout our lives.  Being witty is an important part of being charming and charming people build more relationships.  Laughing and having supportive relationships are two essential ways to beat stress which is a major factor in aging.

8.  Discover New Hobbies for Continual Learning

Hobbies help us to stay mentally and physically active.  One day I hope to start a saltwater aquarium.  I love the ocean and diving so this is a way that I can bring a piece of it home with me to admire daily.  The desire to learn new things is an essential part of staying mentally sharp.  As an added bonus, you may be able to generate some extra income from your hobbies.

9.  Practice Gratitude Daily

Practicing gratitude is very important to me.  Reminding ourselves of all that we have to be thankful for helps to make us happy and keep us positive.  I believe gratitude is important no matter what your age, but as we grow older it helps us to remember how rich and fulfilling of a life we truly have.  Practicing gratitude helps us to maintain the proper mental attitude which directly impacts our physical health as well.

10. Teach and Encourage Others in Worthy Matters

A great way to feel useful and significant is to share your wisdom and experience with others.  Knowing that you still have value and can contribute in a positive way to the life of others really helps one to stay young.  Many people greatly underestimate their value as they age.  Getting involved in teaching people a useful skill, hobby or concept is a fantastic way to feel young.

11. Challenge Self to Take New Risks

As we grow older, we often become more conservative and less willing to take risks.  We need to continually push ourselves outside our comfort zone in order to fight becoming stagnate.  The best way to overcome fear is to plow right through it!  Think about starting your own business or learning to scuba dive or traveling to Europe.  One or more of these will help you to feel young and alive!

12.  Continue Quest to Live Life to Its Fullest

For me, I know that living life to the fullest is a life-long quest.  It is something that I will never give up on.  I also know that it will help me to stay young at heart.  It pushes me to test the boundaries and to follow my sense of curiosity.  Life certainly doesn’t end when you reach 40, 50, 60, 70 or even 80!  Many people have accomplished amazing things late in life.  Growing older is inevitable, but we can never stop living!

What are you doing to stay young as you get older?

When thinking about how you might be able to make money in retirement, have you given any thought at all to earning money online? If not, then perhaps you should. Many people – young and old – are learning to do what it takes to earn the extra money they want or need. Do you want to be among them?

I know just how big a challenge it can be, to start learning new skills later in life. The breakthrough for me came when I realised the value of putting my faith in a teacher or mentor.

I had been researching opportunities and was overwhelmed by the hype and sheer volume of information. When moving into something so new, the key is to follow someone who has not only done it, but has the ability to put over the knowledge in a simple and easy to follow manner.

There are so many people out there who can talk a good game, so one does have to beware getting involved with the ‘get rich quick’ merchants. So many of them promise the earth, yet do not even provide some of the basic information needed by the beginner.

There are some good learning programs out there and I am going to recommend that those who are serious take a look at two, which I know work.

My first idea is that the concept of affiliate marketing (selling other people’s products for a commission), be studied in a measured fashion, with new information being provided on a regular basis. This allows time and opportunity for lessons to be absorbed in a logical order, before moving on to the next new idea.

For those who would rather see the whole picture right from the start, I suggest a modestly priced course, to be downloaded immediately. This allows you to pick out and home in on the areas you feel confident with, then filling in with the rest, as you feel the need.

Either of the suggested methods will work on their own; I myself have used a combination of both and am happy with the results.

Do make sure you do enough background research, then try out some of these inexpensive options, rather than jumping in and spending large amounts of money on untried training courses.

While many do not yet believe it, earning extra income online is possible and there is nothing to stop you learning how, at any stage of life!

Following masses of research, Leonardo offers two recommendations:
